When does the season start and end?

Tryouts for Minor and Major baseball are scheduled for late January/early February.

Practices usually start near the beginning of March and games will start at the end of March.

Depending on the particular division, the season usually ends in early June.

How often is practice; when are games?

The frequency of practice depends upon the particular division. In general:

T-Ball players practice once a week and play one (1) game per week.
Rookies practice once a week and play one (1) game per week.
Farm practices 2 times per week and has 1-2 games per week.
Minors will typically practice 1-2 times per week and play 2-3 games per week.
Majors will typically practice 1-2 times per week and play 3 games per week.
Juniors & Seniors TBA

The practice schedules strongly depend upon field availability. Most teams will play at least one game on the weekend. There are time limits in place for games on school nights.

What do I need in order to register?

Copy of registrant’s birth certificate.

What equipment does my child need to play ball?

Game pants/socks/belt (Optional for T-Ball and Rookie; required in Farm and up)

Players are responsible for their own practice clothing. Game pants/socks/belt should be purchased after team assignments when your coach will inform the team of the team colors.
Uniform shirts and caps are provided for all players.

Cleats (Optional for T-Ball and Rookie; required in Farm and up)
Glove
Protective cup (Required in Farm and up)
Balls, bats and helmets (Optional)

Each team has balls, bats, and helmets available.

Most importantly, your child should come prepared with a GOOD ATTITUDE, and a desire to have fun and to learn.

How do I know if I live within the NLLL boundaries?

In general, children who live within the areas of the following elementary schools are within the boundaries of North Lake Little League:
